What a Couple of Weeks!

If any of you have contacted me and I have not returned your calls or emails, well, I had a crazy couple of weeks. I was going to meet a friend in Chicago and we were then driving together to Boston to the French Bulldog National Specialty (big dog show), where we had a booth. We were planning to spread love and light and our holistic dog products to our Frenchie friends! About 20 miles from home, I hit a patch of black ice, the results of a very early snow storm) and flipped, rolled and totaled my van. My stuff went everywhere and I was pretty dazed!

I crawled out through the windshield, fund my cell phone and iPod (we have our priorities) and called my husband. He got there, took one look at the van and declared it totaled. I am sooo blessed and lucky to be here and I did not have one bruise or bump! Thankfully, I did not have any dogs with me or the story might not have had a happy ending. I shudder to think of that.

When I got to my event I realized my laptop was not at its best and I had really bad cell phone service in that building. So much for all that Verizon being number one. I could snag calls every now and then and managed to get a couple of uploads to Facebook, but after a couple of days of frustration I just quit messing with it all and declared myself OFF THE GRID! So, if I did not return a call or email, I apologize, please give me another try. I must have needed this wake-up call, as I had not realized how connected I was to all of the technology we all use so much. I actually had times of guilt and frustration at my event, when I should have been spreading light…all over a bad cell phone connection and iffy internet. Hmmm, I will be pondering THAT for a while.
