Back from Denise Linn’s Summerhill Ranch
WHEW! It has sure been one heckuva month and I am blessed and thrilled to share some of my adventures with you. First, I was going to the French Bulldog National Specialty dog show in the Boston, MA area with my friend Kelly MacLaughlin of Pawsitive Healing and flipped, rolled and totaled my van not even 20 miles from home. I hit a spot of black ice and there it went. I did not have one bruise, one bit of soreness, I was so blessed (husband says lucky). I made the decision to just jump in the other vehicle and keep going and so I did. I was there a week, came back and had literally 24 hours to get ready, have Steve get some work done on the truck he had band-aided together for me to drive to meet Kelly in and head out to CA for a deepening of my Soul Coaching training. I will not bore you with dog show stuff, that will be covered on my The Blissful Dog blog.
OK, I drove to Fargo, ND, hopped on a Frontier West flight, connected in Denver (sat a while in a snow storm) and then headed onto San Jose, CA. On the way, I thought how much fun it would be to get to drive a PT Cruiser and yep, when I got there, National was out of the Economy cars and the agent offered me a…PT Cruiser. I did not even have to ask. Upgrade Angels are POWERFUL!
I was a bit frazzled (ok, a LOT), as I had messed up my reservations and was arriving a bit later than I anticipated and I desperately did not want to make Denise a tad cranky. So, on the drive there I addressed my propensity for piling too much on my plate and doing too much. I took it out, examined it, sighed over it and decided that my days of uber-multi-tasking were coming to a close. Instead of doing one or two things REALLY well, I have been kinda half-assed doing a lot of stuff. That is a deep spiritual assessment…I had been half-asses doing a lot in my attempt to do MORE. This in turn made me ponder upon my Michael Teachings Chief Features of Impatience and Greed. Yep, all this spiritual seeking, self-centered introspection and delving inside will all roll together to give you answers…all we have to do is listen – hahahah!
So, even as I drove to my deepening of my Soul Coaching work I had one epiphany after another…ahhh…let the lessons begin. More tomorrow!
